10870 Gwendolen (1996 SY4) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on September 25, 1996 by G. C. L. Aikman at the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory, Victoria. It was named for Gwendolen Aikman, the mother of the asteroid's discoverer.[1]
