104.6 RTL is a German radio channel. First aired on 9 September 1991, it serves Berlin and aims at the 14–39 age bracket. The studios are located at the Kurfürstendamm in Berlin-Charlottenburg.

Program

The flagship of 104.6 RTL is „Arno und die Morgencrew“ (Arno and the morning crew). It was the first program of its type in Germany and contributed to the popularity of morning shows in American style. 104.6 RTL was the first radio channel to run major promotions like „Dein neues Leben“ (Your new life), „Arno macht Dich zur Prinzessin“ (Arno makes you a princess) oder „Wer bietet weniger – Die erste Rückwärtsversteigerung der Welt“ (Who bets less - the first backwards auction in the world). In 2005 the radio channel has been awarded the German Radio Award for the best morning show.[1]
