(7120) 1989 AD3 or 7120 Davidgavine is a main-belt minor planet named after David Myles Gavine, a Scottish astronomy historian.[1] It was discovered by Robert H. McNaught at the Siding Spring Observatory in Canberra, Australia, on January 4, 1989.
