Şabran (also known as Shabran, Dəvəçi, Dävächi, Divichi, Däväçi, Devechi, Divachi, and Divichibazar) is a city in and the capital of the Şabran Rayon of Azerbaijan.
History
In 1961, Davachi received city status. In 2010, the city was renamed to Şabran after the name of the historic and medieval town with the same name.[2]
