Ślemień [ˈɕlɛmjɛɲ] is a village in Żywiec County, Silesian Voivodeship, in a mountainous part of southern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Ślemień.[1] It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) east of Żywiec and 65 km (40 mi) south-east of the regional capital Katowice.
The village has a population of 1,977 (2013).
