Émile Loubon

Charles-Joseph-Émile Loubon (January 12, 1809 – March 1, 1863) was a French genre painter.
Loubon was born in Aix, and studied under Jean-Antoine Constantin and François Marius Granet. He traveled with Granet to Rome in 1829, and in 1845 became director of the School of Practical Design at Marseilles.
Loubon is interred at the Cimetière Saint-Pierre in Marseilles.
