Çaldıran (Kurdish: Bazîdaxa) is a district and town in Van Province of Turkey. The mayor is Ferman Yıldırım (AKP).

The town is in an earthquake prone area; 3,840 people were killed by a 7.2 magnitude earthquake in 1976.[3]
