Árstíðir (English: Seasons) is an Icelandic indie-folk band with classical, progressive rock and minimalist elements.[1] The band formed in 2008 in Reykjavík. Árstíðir has released three albums to date.[2][3]

The group is composed of members Hallgrímur Jónas Jensson (cello), Karl Aldinsteinn Pestka (violin), Gunnar Már Jakobsson (guitar), Daniel Auðunsson (guitar), Ragnar Ólafsson (baritone guitar) and Jón Elísson (piano). All six members also sing.[4]
