Şicula is a commune in Arad County, Romania, is situated on the southern part of the Teuz Plateau, along the Crişul Alb River. Its surface stretches over 13,130 ha. It is composed of three villages: Chereluş, Gurba and Şicula (situated at 51 km from Arad).

According to the last census, the population of the commune counts 4591 inhabitants, out of which 98,5% are Romanians, 0,4% Hungarians, 0,8% Roma and 0,3% are of other or undeclared nationalities.
The first documentary records of Șicula and Chereluş date back to 1334, while Gurba was first mentioned in 1213.
The commune's present-day economy can be characterized by a powerful dynamic force with significant developments in all the sectors.
Șicula is a significant road junction of Arad county. Although it is not abundant of spectacles, the traditions and the residents' hospitality are worth experiencing. The Crișul Alb Valley is well-known for its rich flora and fauna.
