İctimai Televiziya və Radio Yayımları Şirkəti, or İTV (Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company in English, Azerbaijani: [itʃtimai televizija væ radio jajɯmlarɯ ʃirkæti]), is a public television channel in Azerbaijan. The broadcaster became a member of the EBU on July 5, 2007 and can therefore take part in the Eurovision Song Contest, joining Caucasus neighbours Georgia and Armenia for the first time in the 2008 contest.
İTV is one of the few broadcasters in Eurovision which is not state-run or owned. The Azeri national television channel, AzTV, also attempted to gain EBU membership in 2007 but was denied due to its relationship with the government.
On February 2, 2009 it was announced that İctimai Television would be the host broadcaster of the 2010 Eurovision Dance Contest to be held in Autumn 2010 in Baku, Azerbaijan.[1] The EBU has since postponed the Eurovision Dance Contest 2010 indefinitely due to a lack of participating countries.
Following Azerbaijan's win in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011, İTV will host the 2012 competition.
