Çatalzeytin is a town and district of the Kastamonu Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. According to the 2000 census, population of the district is 8,508 of which 3,410 live in the town of Çatalzeytin.[1][2] The district covers an area of 368 km2 (142 sq mi),[3] and the town lies at an elevation of 74 m (243 ft).
