laSexta (Spanish pronunciation: [la ˈseksta] or Spanish pronunciation: [la ˈsesta] , The Sixth) is the sixth nationwide broadcast television station in Spain. It is privately owned and began broadcasting in 2006.

. laSexta programming includes Sé lo que hicisteis..., My Name Is Earl, The Office, Law & Order, The Sopranos, NCIS, The King of Queens, Entourage, How I Met Your Mother, Family Guy, Futurama, Bones, 30 Rock, The Mentalist, Eleventh Hour , Prison Break and The Walking Dead.
laSexta currently broadcasts in 16:9 for most programming although they still use 4:3 for a minority of programming including films and older series.
Also broadcasts three new channels: laSexta HD (as in laSexta, but hd), laSexta 2 (reports and series, and laSexta 3 (movie channel)
