iContact Corp. is a provider of e-mail marketing and social media services to small and mid-sized businesses. The company was co-founded by Ryan Allis and Aaron Houghton, as Broadwick Corporation in 2003. In 2007, they re-branded themselves as iContact.[2] ARIN's database shows iContact.com is owned by icontact and that icpbounce.com, the domain used in their customers' headers, is owned by Broadwick.
iContact allows customers to create, track, and send emails and social media messages. The company has over 70,000 customers and 1,000,000 users.[3]
In August 2010, iContact closed on a Series B investment of $40M from JMI Equity, adding to previous investments from NC IDEA, Updata Partners, and North Atlantic Capital.[4]
