Operations

The electronics contract manufacturer Zollner develops and produces individual parts, modules, devices as well as complex systems for customers in different industry sectors such as automotive, office electronics and data systems technology, industrial electronics, aviation, measurement, medical systems, telecommunications and other consumer goods. Apart from development and production, Zollner also provides services in areas such as product life cycle management, supply chain management, material management and after sales service.

Management board

The company was founded in 1965 by the present Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Manfred Zollner sen. as a one-man company. The management board of the Zollner Elektronik AG consists of Johann Weber (CEO, Director Electronics), Ludwig Zollner (Director HR & Automotive), Manfred Zollner jun. (Director Eastern Europe & SLC), Christian Zollner (Director Mechanics), Prof. Dr. Josef Weber (Director Technology & Development) and Thomas Schreiner (CFO). Today, Zollner employs a total of 7249 people (as of December 2010).

Locations

In Germany, Zollner maintains eight production sites which are located in Eastern Bavaria in Zandt, Lam, Untergschwandt, Neukirchen, Altenmarkt I, Altenmarkt II, Altenmarkt III and Furth im Wald. The company also has two production locations in Hungary which are in Vác and Szügy and two production sites in Romania named Satu Mare I and Satu Mare II. There are also two production sites in China, Taicang I and Taicang II. The production facility Beja is located in Tunisia. Zollner also maintains a sales agency in Sterling, Virginia USA.
