History

Formation

In the year, 1982, the band was founded by African American brothers Sparks and Ian Tafoya (also known as Greg Fulton) and their cousin Nicky Tafoya (also known as Curtis Fulton). Nicole Lee (also known as Sue Sharp) joined the group as a lead vocalist. The band originally performed under the title Snowhite, but later replaced the S with a Z. The following year the group appeared on volume three of the Metal Massacre compilation, which helped give them some exposure.[2]

Lineup changes and disbandment

After little commercial success, Nicole, Ian and Sparks Tafoya decided to reform the band in 1988 with Scott Schafer on bass guitar. Then in 1989, yet another lineup change would occur, this one featuring Debbie Gunn on vocals and drummer John Slattery. Ian Tafoya and Scott Schafer would go on to form Cyclone Temple[2] and Rebels Without Applause (the later of which featured former drummer, Tony Heath (also known as Sparks Tafoya)[3] and Debbie Gunn would go on to sing for such groups as Ice Age[4] and Sentinel Beast.[5]
