This is a Chinese name; the family name is Zhang.

Zhang Wei is a Chinese ice dancer. With partner Wang Rui, he is the 1999 Asian Winter Games champion. They placed 10th at the 2000 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships.^[1]

Following his retirement from competitive skating, he worked as a figure skating judge for China.^[2] He has also worked as a coach and choreographer. Among his current and former students and clients are Amy Alisara Arirachakaran,^[3] Phanyaluck Raisuksiri,^[4] and Anja Chong^[5]
