Hajiya Zainab Abdulkadir Kure (born 24 November 1959) was elected Senator for the Niger South constituency of Niger State, Nigeria, taking office on 29 May 2007. She is a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).[1]

Kure obtained a BSc in Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1984.[1] She worked as a civil servant in Niger State before running for senate, and rose to the position of permanent secretary. Her husband Abdulkadir Kure was governor of Niger State in Nigeria from 29 May 1999 to 29 May 2007.[2]

After being elected she was appointed to committees on National Planning, Capital Markets and Agriculture.[1] In a mid-term evaluation of Senators in May 2009, ThisDay noted that she had sponsored the National Grazing Reserves Establishment and Development Commission Bill, 2008 and the National Poverty Eradication Commission Bill, 2008. The newspaper said she had contributed brilliantly to debates in plenary, and was very active and focused in committee work.[3]
