Yun-Fei Ji (born 1963) is a Chinese painter. He moved to New York in the late 1980s, and for a time worked as a scenic artist in the film industry.

Yun-Fei Ji lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. He paints on handmade rice paper with translucent ink or paint based on natural pigments, using ancient techniques, including calligraphy. His subject is the failure of the Communist utopia in China. He was a 2006 Rome Prize winner.
He is represented by James Cohan Gallery.
He has works in the collection of Museum of Modern Art,[1] The Drawing Center in New York, and the Worcester Art Museum. He was a recipient of the 2005/6 Jules Guerin Rome Prize Fellowship.
