Single for the MTV Unplugged version

"You Learn" is a song by Canadian recording artist and songwriter Alanis Morissette, for her 1995 breakthrough album Jagged Little Pill (1995). The song was written by Morissette and Glen Ballard for the album. Through the lyrics, one of the verses features the album title "Jagged Little Pill".

"Your Learn" is a midtempo pop rock song, which also features a more alternative style as well. The song talks about things that people do that are hard to accept. "You Learn" received generally positive reviews from music critics, as many critics praised the lyrics and thought it was a standout to the album. In the United States the track was number one on Billboard's Hot 100 Airplay chart for five weeks. After its radio airplay had started to decline, "You Learn" was released as a retail single and debuted and peaked at number six on the Billboard Hot 100, and number one on the Billboard Pop Songs. It also peaked at number twenty in Australia and number thirteen in New Zealand.

Because the CD single includes a live version of "You Oughta Know" from the 1996 Grammy Awards as an A-side, Billboard credited the chart position to "You Learn"/"You Oughta Know". An acoustic version of the song from Morissette's live album Alanis Unplugged (1999) was released as a single in some countries in 2000. Another acoustic version was recorded for the album Jagged Little Pill Acoustic (2005).
