Yo-Yo Rodriguez, also known as Slingshot, is a fictional character in the Marvel Universe.

Yo-Yo Rodriguez, is the Puerto-Rican daughter of the Griffin. She was recruited by Nick Fury to join his anti-Skrull task force.[1] This team became known as the Secret Warriors.[2] As a part of her training for the team, Nick Fury violently interrogated her disguised as Madame Hydra, leader of HYDRA. He kept hurting her to see if she would betray her team mates, but she didn't, so she passed the test. This experience traumatized her greatly. She helped fight the Skrulls during the Secret Invasion, and they won with the help of the other heroes and villains.[3]
At one point she was injured severely, with both of her arms severed by the Gorgon, and was temporarily unable to remain active with the team.[4] However, both arms have now been replaced with prosthetics[5] and she has returned to active duty.[6]
She can run at superhuman speed and bounces back to the point where she began running.
