Yazdani is a Indo-Aryan word meaning divine. It refers also to an ancient religious cult still present today among the Yezidi/Yarsani/Alevi Kurds[1]. In Iran, People with this surname are mainly from the city of Yazdan in central Iran in the Isfahan province.
