Yazaki (矢崎総業 Yazaki Sōgyō) is a worldwide supplier of automotive equipment, gas meters and air-conditioning equipment. The main business is automotive equipment like electrical wiring harnesses, components like connectors, terminals, fuses and boxes and electronic devices such as instrument clusters.
The Yazaki Group employs more than 156,000 people globally (Japan: 22,000, Europe: 24,000, America: 35,000, Asia: 75,000). The total sales in 2009 sums up to more than 11,000 Mio US$ of which more than 9,300 Mio US$ are automotive sales.
The Yazaki Group is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, with European headquarters in Cologne, Germany and the North American headquarters in Canton, Michigan.
