Antwi initiated his senior career with Bofoakwa Tano F.C. in 2005 playing in the Ghana Premier League but when the club was relegated in 2007, Antei moved to another top league club, signing with Liberty Professionals F.C..[1] The good exhibitions made him to receive a call to represent the Ghana national team in 2008. With Liberty Pro he managed to archive the 3rd place in the 2009 West African Club Championship (UFOA Cup).
This earned him interess from many clubs, and in 2009 Antwi moved to Europe and signed with Serbian club FK Napredak Kruševac. Unfortunatelly for Antwi, Napredak ended the season relegated from the Serbian SuperLiga, and another top league club, ambitious FK Vojvodina offered him a contract. In summer of 2010, Antwi moved from Kruševac to Novi Sad, joining officially FK Vojvodina.
His debut match for the Black Stars was in a match against South Africa on 15 October 2008, scoring his first goal for Ghana in that same match.[2] Antwi scored a gols for Ghana local national team in match against Senegal on 4 March 2009 in the African Nations Championship,[3] tournament that ended up with Ghana in second place by losing the final with Antwi in the starting squad, against DR Congo by 1-2. However he has been left out from the 2010 FIFA World Cup squad, and ever since he has been and first line back-up option in the competitive Ghanaian national team, earning several calls in recent matches.
