Xmortis is a monthly Goth night held on the 2nd Fridays of the month in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It was started by Latex Lily [1] and "Patman the Avenger", who were a long time couple in the Boston Goth scene, [2] in July 2004 after the end of the area's former monthly Goth event, Hell, had ended in its 11th year. Xmortis continued at Manray until its close in July 2005 when the event was moved across the street to the well known rock club T.T. The Bear's Place [3] and continues its residency there with DJ Chris Ewen of the Future Bible Heroes, Terri, the iconic Manray bartender, and a range of guest DJ's.
Though Xmortis is a Goth night, the events typically feature a different theme each month such as X-Mortis (comic book night)[4], Monster A-Go-Go (Gothic greasers and vintage horror) and Fashion Victims, a night of all Gothic fashion shows[5].
Latex Lily and pat_man_ta also run Dead Pool, which is a monthly Gothic, Industrial and Electro Billiards night at Flat Top Johnny's[6] and Night of the Dolls [7] which is a quarterly fetish party held at T.T. the Bears.
