XT(2)

The XT[2] is a video server built and designed by the Belgian company EVS Broadcast Equipment which allows broadcasters to record, control and play media.

The XT[2]+ is a newer model of the server. This one has four 3D channels (3G or dual link).

The tapeless server allows loop recording and has the particularity to allows actions like replays, slow-motion, non-linear editing or streaming while recording.

It has been used in sporting event productions such as the FIFA World Cup, the IFAF World Cup, MotoGP, BBC Football Programmes and the Olympic Games and in studio environments such as NBC, France 2 and CCTV.

The server is controlled by Multicam(LSM) or IPDirector softwares.
