XHTPZ-TV is the television call sign for a Televisa television station broadcasting on channel 24 in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico. In addition to local news and programming, XHTPZ also airs a selection of Televisa's FOROtv, Canal 5 and Galavision.[1]
By Mexican law XHTPZ will soon be required to broadcast digital television, with stations in this market beginning digital transition between January 1, 2016 - December 31 2018 and ending analogue broadcasting in 2022. A station may at its discretion broadcast in DTV before law requires it to.[2]
