XHTO-FM
XHTO-FM, also known as "104.3 HIT-FM", is a top 40 radio station serving the El Paso, Texas, area of the United States. The station is owned by Grupo Radio Mexico (GRM Communications in USA) and whose community of license is Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico. While its transmitter is in Mexico, XHTO broadcasts from a studio and sales office that are based in El Paso.
XHTO, which originally was a Spanish contemporary outlet, changeed to an English-language top 40/contemporary hit radio (CHR) format in 2001. By 2003, it shifted directions to rhythmic to compete directly against KPRR, but returned to top 40 most recently because of rock content on the station's playlist (Hey, Soul Sister by Train is one of the songs). In addition, XHTO also plays dance product, some of which will end up placing on the station's top ten list. However, despite shifting back to top 40/CHR, XHTO continues to report to Mediabase and BDS' Rhythmic Airplay Panels, making it possibly the only CHR station on that panel to date.
