RTV is the state-owned public broadcaster serving the Mexican state of Veracruz.[1]
RTV was established in March 1999 by the Secretaría de Educación y Cultura of Veracruz as a centre for audiovisual production and educational/cultural broadcasting. Its mandate includes coverage of subjects such as security and civil defense, health and justice, food, economic development, protection of nature and the environment as well as the promotion of civic values within Veracruzan society.
RTV (XHGV-TV 4) is distributed statewide by multiple repeater stations located throughout Veracruz:
