World Victory Road Presents: Sengoku 5 was a mixed martial arts event promoted by World Victory Road. The event took place on September 28, 2008 at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan. It featured the start of World Victory Road's Middleweight Grand Prix tournament.

Bahadurzada defeated Santos by TKO (elbow injury after a takedown) at 0:22 of the first round.

Logan Clark vs. Jorge Santiago

Santiago defeated Clark by submission (arm triangle choke) at 3:55 of the second round.

• Middleweight GP bout:

Paul Cahoon vs. Kazuhiro Nakamura

Nakamura defeated Cahoon by unanimous decision, 3–0.

• Middleweight GP bout:

Yuki Kondo vs. Yuki Sasaki

Sasaki defeated Kondo by submission (rear naked choke) at 1:08 of the second round.

• Heavyweight bout:

Muhammed Lawal vs. Travis Wiuff

Lawal defeated Wiuff by TKO (strikes) at 2:11 of the first round.

Alexandre Ribeiro vs. Takashi Sugiura
