Woodward Middle School is a middle school located in Bainbridge Island, Washington. The Vision Statement is Connecting, Challenging. Woodward has between 500 and 650 students, and 49 staff members. The school mascot is the wildcat.

The school is named for Mary and Walter Woodward, who was a co-editor of the Bainbridge Island Review, which in World War II, criticized President Franklin D. Roosevelt for his decision to intern Japanese Americans. The school was founded in 1994. In 2004 Woodward received the blue Ribbon award from No Child Left Behind.
Woodward caters to 7th and 8th graders. Woodward's Staff and Students are 93% White, 4.2% Asian, 1.2% Latino, 0.8% Native American, and 0.8% Black. The Current Administration at Woodward is the Principal Michael Florian and the Vice Principal Kristan Nelson.
Woodward has all required classes for 7th and 8th grade. Which include world history and language arts. Math and science are not a priority. Woodward focuses more on the arts because artists thrive on Bainbridge Island. Woodward has special needs, learning strategies, and algebra classes. Woodward also has electives allowing each student to take at most two electives per semester. These electives include: French, Spanish, Family and Consumer Science, Applied Computer technology, Physical Education, Band, Sculpture, Drawing and Painting, Digital Photography, and Chorus. Each Student has 6 periods and a lunch. The school day begins at 8:55 AM and ends at 3:10 PM and there are four minutes for passing time.
Woodward has multiple sports teams. In the fall there is girls volleyball, and boys and girls cross country. In the winter there are boys and girls basketball. In spring there are Boys and girls lacrosse, boys wrestling, and boys and girls track and field. Besides sports Woodward has a small variety of sport clubs.
