Wombleton is a village and civil parish in the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire, England. it is on the A170 road and 7 miles west of Pickering.

The village has one pub called the 'Plough Inn', serving meals and housing a well-used pool table; the pub can be noticed to the left side of the Main Street immediately after passing the left turning to Welburn (Page Lane). Further up Page Lane there is also a playing field used for cricket in the summer, with tennis court and a children's playground (which has been recently updated) close to the entrance. Its chapel was recently knocked down to make room for housing.

Towards the south of the village on the road to Harome, there is a popular caravan site and Canadian airmen memorial next door to RAF Wombleton, now an active private airfield.
