Wirral Grammar School for Girls is an all-girls grammar school located on the Wirral Peninsula, United Kingdom.

It is situated on Heath Road, Bebington, on the Wirral Peninsula, England, next door to Wirral Grammar School for Boys. The school consists of lower school (ages 11–16) and Sixth Form (ages 17–18), and entrance is by the "eleven plus" examination. Mrs Elaine Cogan has been its head teacher since 2001.
In 2007 Wirral Grammar School for Girls began a consultation with parents into the possibility of the school acquiring Foundation School status. The school has specialist status in languages, and more recently has acquired specialist humanities status. Consistently high achieving, it has been designated as a "high performing school" by the Specialist Schools AcademiesTrust and has received an Ofsted rating of 'Outstanding' in every department.[1]
It was founded in 1931. It was known as the Wirral County Grammar School for Girls until the late 1990s, being administered by the Cheshire Education Committee before 1974, then the Wirral Education Committee. In the early 1970s, it had around 900 girls.
The school attains some of the best A-level results in North West England, and England, and as such is reputed to be academically superior to the neighbouring boys' school.
