Windemere Ranch Middle School, is a middle school located on 11611 East Branch Parkway, in San Ramon, California, and is part of the San Ramon Valley Unified School District (SRVUSD). Windemere Ranch is led by founding principal David M. Bolin and vice principal Christy Glaser, and second vice princapal, Mimi Quan.
Windemere Ranch opened in 2005 with grades 6 and 7. In 2006 they expanded to grades 6, 7 & 8. The school currently has more than 1,000 students enrolled.
The campus includes a video lab, language lab,computer lab and more. A joint-use park is right next door.
Windemere Ranch Middle School is ranked in the top 1.3 percent in the state in the 2006 Academic Performance Index.
On April 1, 2009, Windemere Ranch received the California Distinguished School award.[1]
Windemere Ranch Middle School had an API score of 950 (out of 1000) in 2008, which was the best for any middle school in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. Rated 14th in the county, star testing scores are very high.[2] Classes Windemere, rated one of the best schools, is filled with technology, providing smartboards, 5 mobile labs, and 2 computer labs.
