William Grindal

William Grindal (died 1548), was an English scholar. He was a tutor to Queen Elizabeth and was a pupil and protege of Roger Ascham. He died of the plague.^[1] Grindal was Elizabeth's main Latin and Greek teacher during her younger years.^[2]
