William Fernando da Silva or simply William (born November 20, 1986 in São Paulo), is a Brazilian attacking midfielder. He currently plays for Náutico.
Made professional debut for Palmeiras in 0-1 home defeat to Grêmio in the Campeonato Brasileiro on May 28, 2006. In 2003, he signed a 5-year contract with Palmeiras.[1]
Since 2008 he left on loan to other Brazilian clubs. His contract also extended to 30 June 2011 in 2008. He added two more year to his current contract in 2010. He was injured in June and missed the rest of the season.[2]
