William Bissett (bishop)
William Bissett was an Anglican bishop in the Church of Ireland.[1][2] He was the last Bishop of Raphoe, although he declined to be the Archbishop of Dublin.[3] He had previously been Archdeacon of Ross.[4]
Bissett was educated at Christ Church, Oxford.[5] He was the author of a study of Edmund Burke.[6]
Bissett died at Lessendrum, Aberdeenshire on 5 September 1834 aged 78.[7]
