William Artur de Oliveira or simply William (born 20 October 1982) is a Brazilian football player. Currently, he plays for FC Dynamo Bryansk. He made his debut in the Russian Premier League on March 21, 2009 for FC Amkar Perm when he started in a game against FC Krylia Sovetov Samara.[1]

Career

Born in São Bernardo do Campo, William spent his early career playing with Associação Atlética Caldense with whom he will win the 2002 Campeonato Mineiro. Afterwords he played with Cascavel Clube Recreativo and Nacional Atlético Clube Sociedade Civil Ltda. before moving to Mexico to join Puebla F.C. in 2005.[2] That year the club finished top of the Mexican Primera División A becaming the 2005 Apertura champions.

In 2006 he was back to Brazil playing with Esporte Clube Águia Negra but by the end of the year he will move again abroad, this time to play with Serbian First League side FK Srem. His good exhibitions called the attention of Serbian SuperLiga club OFK Beograd who brought him in January 2008.

He will score 7 league goals in 22 matches in the Serbian top flight with OFK and by the winter break of the 2008-09 season he was moving to Russia to join Premier League side FC Amkar Perm.
