Awards Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross

Wilhelm Bäder (21 March 1922 – 22 March 1945) was a highly decorated Oberleutnant der Reserve in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Wilhelm Bäder was killed on 22 March 1945 in Hofen, Germany. He was posthumously awarded the Knight's Cross on 14 April 1945.
