Wilfrid Mylchreest Simmonds (1890 – 2 January 1967) was an Australian politician. Born in Cairns, Queensland, he was educated at Mulgrave before becoming a sugar cane grower. After serving in the military 1917-1919, he sat on Mulgrave Shire Council. In 1949, he was elected to the Australian Senate as a Liberal Senator for Queensland, although he retired before the next election in 1951. Simmonds died in 1967.[1]
