Wigginton is a village and civil parish about 6 miles (10 km) southwest of Banbury in Oxfordshire.

Remains of a large Roman villa have been found in the village[2] about 200 yards (180 m) southwest of the parish church.[3]

The Decorated Gothic nave and chancel of the Church of England parish church of Saint Giles were built late in the 13th century. The Perpendicular Gothic porch and west tower were added later. The tower has a ring of six bells.[4]

Wigginton has a public house, The White Swan, that is controlled by Hook Norton Brewery.[5]

There is a Swerford and Wigginton Women's Institute.[6]
