Wiconisco Creek

Wiconisco Creek is a 42.5-mile-long (68.4 km)[1] tributary of the Susquehanna River in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, in the United States.

Wiconisco Creek (Lenape for "wet and dirty camp") rises in western Schuylkill County on Broad Mountain and drops quickly to the west into the valley at the foot of the mountain, where it passes Tower City. Entering Dauphin County, the creek continues west through a narrow valley between Big Lick Mountain to the north and Berry Mountain to the south, passing through Williamstown and Lykens. The valley widens considerably as it proceeds to the west, with the end of Short Mountain to the north, and the creek begins to describe a series of bends, passing to the north of Elizabethville, and reaching the Susquehanna River at Millersburg. The Henniger Farm Covered Bridge crosses Wiconisco Creek in Washington Township, Pennsylvania.
