When You Land Here, It's Time to Return
When You Land Here, It's Time to Return is a full-length album released by indie rock band Flake Music (now known as The Shins). The album was recorded in 1997 and subsequently released on Omnibus Records.
In a May 2009 interview with Pitchfork Media, frontman James Mercer announced plans to re-release the album on his own record label, Aural Apothecary.[1] The new version of the album has been mixed by Kennie Takahashi, best known as Danger Mouse's sound engineer.

Notes
- There are three untitled tracks on the album, but the tracklisting on the back cover of the CD case only lists the eight titled tracks. This has led many to erroneously believe that the first eight tracks have titles and the final three are hidden tracks.
- The tracklisting on the disc itself clears up this debate, but also raises confusion by listing twelve tracks instead of eleven. The error is found in the insertion of another untitled track at #7.
- The above track listing has been confirmed by live performances, where the song is referred to as Mieke.
