Nineteen-year-old Elisha (Ashley Madekwe) causes trouble from the moment she arrives. When her belongings are stolen, Elisha will risk anything to get them back, because she has secrets to hide. Her search leads us into Greenside, as Elisha finds herself facing the estate's bright lights and dark heart alike.
She meets several new characters: Lacey (Ashley Walters) and Michael (Noel Clarke), both legends in their own neighbourhood; Elisha’s feisty, funny, and fearless new friend Val (Chi Kolo); Val’s volatile boyfriend Ray (Fraser Ayres, The Smoking Room); and Orin (Duane Henry), who, like Elisha, is also on a mission.
When a gang stashes a kilo of hash right before Orin’s eyes, he feels he has only one option. To steal it. He and his best friend Will find themselves with the best hash they’ve ever had – and in more danger than they’ve ever known.
When Orin and Elisha meet, they clash. But the spark between them is undeniable – and by the end one will owe their life to the other.
The pilot is filmed entirely in the White City Estate.
