Wembley Downs is an inner northwestern suburb of Perth, Western Australia. It is about 10 km from the CBD and is located within the City of Stirling, although the Wembley Golf Course, from which the suburb takes its name, is located in the Town of Cambridge.
Wembley Downs contains Hale School, an Anglican boys' private school, a state primary school, and a small shopping centre called 'The Downs' which burnt down in October 2008. The shopping centre has now been rebuilt. The street plan of Wembley Downs was designed in the 1960s in the "garden suburb" formation, in a circular pattern around the main intersection at Hale and Weaponess Roads.
