Welt am Sonntag ("World on Sunday") is a German national Sunday newspaper published by Axel Springer AG, and established in 1948. Its head office is in Berlin, and it has local editions for Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Düsseldorf.
It is the Sunday edition of the weekday Die Welt. It features specialist sections on politics, sport, economics, finances, culture, style, journey, engine, real estates, and others.
In 2009, Welt am Sonntag was recognized as one of the "World’s Best-Designed Newspapers" by the Society for News Design, along with four other newspapers.[1]
