Well Respected Kinks
Well Respected Kinks is the first UK budget-priced compilation album by British rock group The Kinks, released in 1966. The album consists of some of the most popular singles and b-sides released by the Kinks from 1964 and 1965. It also includes tracks from the 1965 Kwyet Kinks EP.
The album spent 35 weeks on the UK chart – the longest of any Kinks album – peaking at #5. The studio album Face to Face, released almost two months later, only managed 11 weeks on the chart, peaking at #12.
The album was issued on CD in 2001 as part of the Marble Arch Years boxed set.
