Webcomics Nation

Webcomics Nation is a webcomic hosting and automation service launched on July 29, 2005 by Joey Manley[1], publisher of the subscription webcomic site Modern Tales. It is a service designed for online cartoonists. Webcomics Nation is not a spinoff of Modern Tales like Graphic Smash, serializer, and girlamatic are. Webcomics Nation was conceived as an ad-supported site offering cartoonists unlimited web space for $7 a month,[2] it has since begun offering free hosting.[3]

Its goal is to do for Web comics what Blogger did for blogs and Flickr did for photo sharing.[4] It is the most profitable of Manley's sites, which gross over six figures.[5]

Notable comics on Webcomics Nation have included Shaenon K. Garrity's Narbonic, Eric Millikin's Eric Monster Millikin and Batton Lash's Supernatural Law.
