Waxianghua (瓦鄉話 / 瓦乡话) is considered a mixed language of Chinese and Miao in the northwestern part of Hunan province in China. Differences from Southwestern Mandarin and Xiang are many, and syntactic reversal phenomenal are frequent.
It is found in Luxi, Guzhang and Yongshun counties in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Zhangjiajie prefecture-level city, and Chenxi, Xupu and Yuanling counties in Huaihua prefecture-level city.
The word 瓦 is only a phonetic transcription.
