Waterworld California is a water park located in Concord, California. It was developed, owned and operated by Premier Parks, and now it is under the management of Palace Entertainment. The Park is also home to more waterslides than any other water park in Northern California.
Recent Events
In June 2006, Six Flags announced it was considering closing or selling up to six of its parks, including Elitch Gardens (Denver, CO), Darien Lake (Darien, NY), Waterworld (Concord, CA), Wild Waves and Enchanted Village (Federal Way, WA), Splashtown (Spring, TX), and Magic Mountain (Los Angeles)/Hurricane Harbor (Various).
