WYDN signed on in late April 1999, originally airing the Prime Time Christian Broadcasting (now God's Learning Channel) network from KMLM in Odessa, Texas [1]. By the early 2000s, the station had switched to Daystar programming, and became available on cable systems throughout the market. Many Comcast systems carry it on channel 295,while Verizon Fios subscribers can view it on channel 25.
WYDN brought television back to the top of Asnebumskit Hill in Paxton; however, that ended when WYDN terminated its analog signal on June 12, 2009. WYDN digital transmits from the WBZ-TV tower in Needham.
